Laughing all the way....

Just in time for Christmas, little Evan has started laughing out loud...I love it!! Here is a little sample, though the video does it no justice...

And, since Linz is always whining that I don't ever put my picture on, here is a fun one of us swimming at our Holiday Inn party. Actually though, the pool water was too cold(Evan instantly started yelling at me when I dunked him in...oops) and the hot tub was too hot(and I made the mistake of waxing my legs that morning so it felt like liquid flames on my raw flesh), so we sat on the edge of the hot tub and I splashed water on us both. Jake and I took turns, but I didn't get a picture of him and E...I should have.

I also have to include this picture. We went in the back yard to get a family picture for a Christmas card, and because we didn't have a really recent one and because in the last one Jake looks like he is way taller than me, which he isn't and it was bugging me. Well the best one of Evan and also me is of course the one that Jake decided to mess up. It's pretty cute though still...

Well, I hope you all have a very Happy Christmas(that's how they say it in England). I wish we could all be together, but since we won't, I will be thinking of you.

It's time to celebrate...

our Anniversary!! It was so fun. Jake rented a cottage at Tamarack Resort and we left the child with his aunt Jenny for the night(which she loved so much that when we returned she was kind of mad at us...she thought we came home too early...she loves Evan so dang much). By the way Jenny, we owe you big time...thanks so very much!!! We sure love your guts;) Any way I thought I would give you a taste of what we used to look like, you know, before the reality of life set in. Here is one of our wedding photos...

Oh how young and skinny and naive and child less we were. It's been two years now...and with everything that has happened in those years we look a little different...see for yourself...

Ok, so maybe it's not quite that bad, but we do look a little different. I don't have a good picture to show, but I'll work on it. Until then, just remember us as the beautiful, young people you see in the wedding picture above.

From Evan and Jimie to all the new babies...

We just want to give a shout out to all the new baby girls that have entered the world in the last few weeks...Karlee Jo, Gabrielle and Avery Parker...can we get a what what!! You are all beautiful!!! Also congratulations to the daddies and mommies. And good job to the mommies too!! We love you all so much and can't wait to see your amazing faces(and I can't wait to squeeze those little girl bums). Evan won't be allowed to squeeze anything though...it's never to early to keep these little kids in check;)

Good shot dad!!...

Generally, Jake is not great at taking pictures. You can always tell he was the photographer if the picture is as blurry as when your looking through your nearly blind grandpa's glasses. But it turns out that he is really good at taking video...which I finally figured out how to post...

What a nerd....

I just have one question? Why would my mommy do this to me?...

Also mommy, huge potato does not equal fun toy! Nice try though...

Oh how time does fly...

Another Halloween has come and gone. It always seems like my favorite holidays(halloween and my birthday)go too soon. Then the ones I only semi like(thanksgiving and christmas)last FOREVER...especially Christmas. I hope you all dressed up. Of course I did, sadly though I didn't manage to get a picture of my costume. I looked a bit like this...
No, seriously...my speedo was a little different, but otherwise I looked just like him. Evan of course dressed up too...he was so dang cute...see for yourself...

Jake "dressed up" kind of...really he just shaved his facial hair into this hideous molester mustache and left it for two days. NASTY...sorry I don't have a pic of that either. It was way too gross.

So our Halloween, though short lived, was super fun. We had a party on friday and then went Trick or Treating saturday...yes Evan went...being two months old is no excuse to waste a perfectly good Halloween. I hope you enjoyed yours.
