Evan in Paradise, day #9,10...

...and the good weather just keeps on coming:-) Saturday after a mom only (thanks Matty) beach session, we packed up the kids and headed to town. We went to Pearl Ridge Mall for hours and the kids loved it and, with the exception of a near panic attack when I thought I lost my child, I enjoyed it too. Lots to look at and I even tried on some funny clothes just like I used to years ago when Linz and I lived together. We also went to Target which is one of Evan's fav. places and then didn't get home til after ten. Then Sunday I was a bad influence on Matty and Linz. They skipped church and we spent the morning at the beach. This was my favorite beach day out of the whole trip. Unfortunately my camera was dead and I don't have a single pic to document it. We went to Castles beach which is wide and long and shallow. Linz, Parker, Evan and me walked the whole beach and back stopping to dance and laugh while we went. The sun was perfect, the temperature was perfect, the kids were perfect...it was just so perfect. What we did the rest of the day didn't even matter...I just kept thinking of that perfect morning. While E napped I did recharge my camera and got some pics of our afternoon beach session. Evan was so funny he just wanted to be wrapped in a towel. I'd cocoon him all up and he would just lay there and gaze into the horizon. It was so cute. Then he would get up and run as fast as he could for the ocean. He loves the beach so much. He can even say beach now. He is so my kid:-)(It is funny to me how he can be so mine and also so Jake's...he is so much like both of us. He loves the beach but also loves the snow and cold. He loves to read like me, and loves dogs like Jake...and so on and on) He talked to Jake last night and would just smile and laugh whenever he heard Jake's voice. He so loves his daddy.

Aloha!!
